Question:
My site is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics SL. I am trying to invoice my SOV workbook but when I save, I get a message telling me to correct a non-billing Account Category. How and where do I do this?

Answer:
The message indicates a row’s Item No. (In the example above, “000200.”)
- Review the Account Category on the SOV worksheet.
- If the Account Category is correct, then you must fix this in Microsoft Dynamics SL. The message means that the project’s Flexible Billing Billing Rule does not include the Account Category used. Go to the Billing Rules Maintenance (BI.RUL.00) screen in the Flexible Billings module (shown below).
- Add the new account category. When you return to SOV, you should be able to acquire an invoice.
