Did You Know?

In Power UX, you can view your Attachments and Files in a separate browser tab. If you filter on the Attachments tab or the File Catalog, only those files currently listed will appear in the tear-off tab.  This may be particularly useful when you have many Attachments and want to see them in a larger area. All catalog functionality is available in the tear-off tab.

To tear off from the Attachments tab:

  1. Go to the document’s Attachment tab.
  2. (Optional) Filter your Attachments if you want to see only a subset of those files.
  3. Click the tear-off icon.
  4. A new browser tab will open with the document Attachments in a Catalog view, for example:
  5. You can close this browser tab when you no longer need it.

To tear off from the File Catalog:

  1. Go to Catalog | Files Only (or any other file-based preset search tab).
  2. (Optional) Filter your Attachments if you want to see only a subset of those files.
  3. Click the tear-off icon.
  4. As mentioned in the previous section, a new browser tab will open with the files in a similar Catalog view.
  5. You can close the new browser tab when you no longer need it.
