How do I create a new project when using Power UX?

Answer:

In Power UX, you need to fill out a short form and then click a Create button to both create a Project Setup document and the corresponding Project Dashboard for your new project.  Only users who have the PART | User Project List (RIS) role capability can create a new project.

  1. Click the + icon at the top of your dashboard.
  2. Fill out the three fields on the Create New Project form then click the Create button. You need to tab out of all fields in order for the Create button to enable.

    1. Project For: the Customer for the project. You can type or use the lookup icon to find the Customer.
    2. Project ID: your ID mask (segments). Your ID works the same way as in the Classic UI, so this field may look different from our example.
    3. Project Title: the title for your new project.
  3. When you click the Create button, Spitfire will create the Project Setup (Contract) document and the new Project Dashboard. Note that it may take 15 – 30 seconds for these to be created and shown.
