Question:

Can I delete a Contact from the Team Contact List on the Project Dashboard?

Answer:

You can remove a Contact from the Team Contact list; however, to be clear, this action does not delete or remove the Contact record from the system. The Contact is still available on the Contact Dashboard.

To remove a Contact from the Team Contact list:

  1. Open the options menu for the Contact row.
  2. Select Remove from Team.  For example (in Power UX):
  3. Confirm that you want to remove the team member from the list.

Note: when you remove a Contact from the team list, any role assigned to that project is removed from the Contact’s Member Of tab in Contact Details.

The Replace Project Team Member Option:

When you remove a person from the team, all record of them being on the team also goes away. It is then difficult to know when this person joined or left the team and what this person’s role on the team used to be. If the person is being replaced with another person, we recommend using the Replace Project Team Member option instead.

Inactive Contacts:

If a team member is made inactive on the Contact Details, they remain listed on the Project team until and unless you remove them.  However, they do indicate that they are inactive. For example:
