The Cost Analysis Detail part of a Project Dashboard allows you to drill down for more information on the Actual and Commit columns. While the drill down feature itself is not new (it has been available in the Classic UI for many years), Power UX offers some improvements.

To drill down on a specific Actual or Committed amount:

  1. Click on the specific cell in the row that you want to drill down into. A pop-up window will appear, for example:
    –
  2. You can take one of the following actions, aside from scrolling through your list to look at the data.
    –

    1. Expand the window.
    2. Export to Excel. If an export template has been set up for your site, you can select it from the From Template drop-down. Otherwise, a default template will be used.
      –
    3. Pop up a scrollable view of all the fields with data for this row.  You can also double click on the row to get this same pop up.
      –
    4. Open the Spitfire document related to this row of information.
