KBA-01746: ICTool Does Not Open

Problem:

ICTool does not open on my server.
My Icon for ICTool no longer works.

Solution:

  1. Delete your existing desktop icon(s).
  2. START | RUN “C:\Program Files (x86)\Spitfire\InstallBase\cfgTool\sfLogo.exe”    (Your path may vary)
  3. ICTool should open.
    1. If it does not, contact Support.
  4. In ICTool, select FILE | Create Desktop Shortcut.
  5. Close ICTool.
  6. Find the new shortcut on your desktop.
    1. Right-click to open Properties.
    2. Click Advanced.
    3. Check Run as Administrator.
    4. Click OK
    5. Click OK
  7. Use the new icon.
    1. Confirm Administrator access when prompted.
