I‘ve switched the Change Amount column to FTC (vs. FAC) and I‘m trying to enter $0 so that the FAC will equal the current Actual + Committed Amount, but every time I enter $0, the field changes to another number. Why?
Answer:
Check the Projected flag. If your CostCode/Task is set to “projected,” then the system is trying to project your FTC for you. By entering $0, you are fighting the system. Turn off the Projected flag by clearing the checkmark and you will be able to enter $0.
