Uploading Templates

To upload a template:

  1. In Manage | Templates, click Add a row.
  2. In Doc Type, select the type for the template. If no Doc Type is necessary, select the blank that appears at the top of the list.
  3. In Name, type the name of the template and press Tab. Often the filename of the Word or Excel file to be uploaded is efficient.
  4. In Type, select a type from the drop-down list.
  5. In Description, type a description for the template and press Tab.
  6. Complete the remaining fields (Division, Doc Ref, Customer, Project Type, Include and Bookmarks) as necessary.
  7. Accept the row.
  8. Save the row.
  9. Click Template Document. The Upload Template dialog box will appear.
  10. Click Select Files to locate the template file on your computer/network.
  11. Click Upload.
  12. Close the Upload Template dialog box.
  13. Save the Templates tool.
