What types of files can I store in the sfPMS file catalog?
Answer:
Virtually any. If you encounter a file type that gives you trouble, just ask; we should be able to support it quickly. Out of the box, sfPMS allows drag and drop upload for the following types of files:
- doc, docx, docm
- dwg
- eml, msg
- gif
- htm, html
- jpg, jpeg
- mp4
- mpp
- msg
- png
- ppt, pptx, pps, ppsx
- tif, tiff
- wmv
- xls, xlsx, xlsm
Additional Comments:
Files are stored in an agnostic fashion, so storing files of any type is easy. New file types may require a mapping between the file extension and its MIME type. See KBA-01265 for information on how to add to (or limit) the list of file types that are accepted globally, or for individual document type.
