The Region Maintenance tool allows you to define regions than can then be assigned to vendors. Regions can be whatever works best for you, whether area codes, ZIP codes, geographical regions, or some other variation.
Considerations for Regions
When creating your list of regions, you’ll need to consider the following:
– What regions will you use to organize your vendors?
– What IDs will you use to identify each region?
After Setup
Company Details
Once you have regions, you can add a region to each vendor company on the Company Detail’s Region tab.
Vendor Lookup
Once your vendors are identified be region, you can use Region as a filter parameter in Vendor lookups.
