KBA-01444: Overview of the RecurIncrement Rules

Overview:

The RecurIncrement rules convert Recur codes (from the Code Maintenance tool) into three numbers defining the recurrence rate (in days;months;years). There should be one rule per Recur code.

The RecurIncrement rule group is found in the Rules Maintenance tool on the System Admin Dashboard. Each rule in the group consists of a rule name and a result value.

Filter Value:

None

The RecurIncrement rules do not use filter values.

Result Value:

n;n;n

The RecurIncrement rules accept three numbers separated by semicolons as result values, for example: 0;1;0. The first number indicates recurring days, the second number indicates recurring months and the third number indicates recurring years (that is, d;m;y).

Rules:

Any Recur code

The RecurIncrement rules accept any Recur code (as defined in the Code Maintenance tool), for example: D = 1;0;0 or M = 0;1;0. As another example, Q (for Quarterly) has a result value of 0;3;0 (which means every 0 days; 3 months; 0 years—in other words, quarterly).
