We sometimes make changes to the Project Setup documents on several projects by opening them from the Catalog. When we open each document, the corresponding Project Dashboard opens up too. This is unnecessary and forces us to go close tabs. Is there a way to not have this happen?
Answer:
We agree that it no longer makes sense to have a Project Dashboard open up each time you open a Project Setup document. So now, opening a Project Setup will not open the corresponding dashboard because it is now easy to open the Project Dashboard if you actually want to. (Note: Project Setups will still open a Project Dashboard when the document is first created and saved, and also if the Project ID is changed.)
Generally, you can open the Project Dashboard by clicking on the Project ID or name, for example:
