You can tell a routee’s current Route Via method from the icons (e-mail, fax, or hard copy) on the routee list. Routees without an icon are web routees: documents are routed to their Inboxes.

The image above displays the three icons used for the thee methods: e-mail, fax, hard copy.
Note: Hard copy routees generally need a Proxy to accept his/her routes and move the documents to the next routee. Proxies are indicated on the Connections tab of the Contact record.
