Question:
What does No Application is associated with the specified file for this operation mean?
Answer:
When you click on the icon to open a file in the Spitfire Catalog, and get the Unable to Open dialog with the message that No Application is associated with the specified file for this operation, this means that your Windows workstation does not know how to open that type of file. For example, if you clicked on an .MPP file, you need Microsoft Project (or the viewer) installed on your workstation. If you don‘t have any way to open/view an MPP file, you would get this message.
Additional Comments:
The Spitfire Java Viewer supports over 200 file types.
