How do I use the Project Date Types?
Answer:
There are two date types distributed for use on the Project Setup document.
- Project Current – Start and End dates. These dates are copied to Commitments from the Project Setup by default.
- Start Date — the contractual start date
- Finish Date – this is generally the contractual substantial completion date of the project. Change orders can automatically increment this date — see ProjectConfig TrackCODays
- Project Closeout – A single (finish) date. This can represent a date usually beyond the substantial completion date of the project.
