KBA-01554: Construction Billing Entry must have an application with status ‘In Process’ for AIA Item

Question:

When setting the Change Order to Pending, the following message appears: Construction Billing Entry must have an application with status ‘In Process‘ for AIA Item. Why?

Answer:

If your Spitfire site is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Spitfire checks to see if you have a Construction Billing Entry document with the status ‘In Process‘. If you do not have any Construction Billing Entry documents for this project, Spitfire continues on without the message.

If you do have any Construction Billing Entry documents for this project, Spitfire checks that you have one ‘In Process‘ so that this Change Order will have a place to be billed.

Spitfire is checking in Microsoft Dynamics SL in the PJBILL table and the PJBILLCH table looking for a record with the PJBILLCH.STATUS field to = I

Additional Comments:

Applies only to sites integrated with Microsoft Dynamics SL.
