On certain workstations, EML files do not open from Internet Explorer.
On certain workstations, MSG files do not open from Internet Explorer.
This is a workstation issue. It is not associated with a specific version of Internet Explorer or sfPMS.
- Make sure the sfPMS site is in the IE Intranet zone.
- Check the file association.
- Check the registry and delete the registry key ‘HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTMIMEDatabaseContent Typemessage/rfc822‘. Of course, always backup the system before making changes to the registry.
- Check your Internet protection software settings.
