Intro to Budgeting

Spitfire includes a fully audited Budget function. Each change to the project budget requires an approval and the changes are tracked whether the change was initialed from another documents (for example,  Change Order) or from a Budget Revision.

Spitfire uses the an Excel workbook, the Budget/Forecasting/Analysis (BFA) Workbook for various budget-related functions.

Before you begin a budget, please make yourself familiar with the BFA basic information and navigation that is included in the Focus Guide – BFA: Budget/Forecasting/Analysis.
