Purpose & Scope:
If you plan on using an existing SQL Server that was installed without the optional full text indexing features to host the database for sfPMS, you will need to perform this procedure.
Procedure:
This procedure is performed as an administrator on the SQL server.
- Run the SQL Server 2000 Install program.
- Modify the current installation (do not add another ‘instance‘ of SQL Server):
- Check the option for full text indexing
- Complete the installation
- Reboot the server, even if you are not prompted to do so.
- Re-Run the latest SQL Server service pack.
- Reboot the server, even if you are not prompted to do so.
Additional Comments:
Important Note: Users cannot access the SQL server during this procedure.
