KBA-01159: Parser Error: Could not load type “Spitfire.sfPMS.Global”

Problem:

I get a Parser Error: Could not load type ‘Spitfire.sfPMS.Global’.

Solution:

Your web site is not configured for the correct .NET version.

To associate your web site with .NET:

1. Open Internet Information Server (IIS).
2. Right-click on the virtual directory associated with your Spitfire web site.
3. Select Properties.
4. Click the ASP.NET tab.
5. In ASP.NET version, use the drop-down to select the correct .NET version.
6. Click OK.

Additional Comments:

The current version of .NET being used by your web site is displayed in the Version Information line at the bottom of your error message.
