Problem:
When opening the Spitfire Budget/Forecasting spreadsheet, the process stops at 3% with a ‘Software Encountered an error‘ message. The Budget/Forecasting Log shows the following error: Start LoadSystem.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly ‘Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a‘ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Solution:
Microsoft Office 2003‘s .NET components may not have been updated to work with Visual Studio .NET 2.0 components. Run Microsoft‘s repair utility: vstor.exeDownload vstor.zip from http://www.spitfireconstruction.com/only/download/downloads.htm
