Question:

The Project Cost by Account Category report has two date ranges in its filter parameters. What dates are these date ranges using?

Answer:

The Project Date Range looks for the Current Start date on the Spitfire Project Setup (Contract) document‘s Date Tab.  If this date doesn‘t exist, it then looks for a start_date in Microsoft Dynamics SL‘s pjproj table. The Project Finish Date Range looks for the Current Finish date on the Spitfire Project Setup (Contract) document‘s Date Tab.  If this date doesn‘t exist, it then looks for a end_date in Microsoft Dynamics SL‘s pjproj table.
