KBA-01518: Overview of the RouteResponseIsYes Rules

Overview:

The RouteResponseIsYes rules specify the route response codes that indicate an affirmative response. These rules are used to have the system understand the purpose and usage of Route Response codes associated with each Doc Type.

The RouteResponseIsYes rule group is found in the Rules Maintenance tool on the System Admin Dashboard. Each rule in the group consists of a rule name, a filter value (which can be blank) and a result value.


Filter Value:

Any Doc type

The RouteResponseIsYes rules accept a Doc type (as defined in the Doc Types tool and appearing on the filter drop-down) as the filter value.


Result Value:

The RouteResponseIsYes rules accept a blank or a checkmark as the result value.

checkbox result value

  • unchecked = No. The response code does not indicate an affirmative response (default).
  • checked = Yes. The response code indicates an affirmative response.

Rules:

Any ResponseCode code

Specifies (in the result value checkbox) whether the indicated ResponseCode (as defined in the Cost Maintenance tool) should indicate an affirmative response.
